Ms. Sophie Pellé

Based on an analysis of the work of Amartya Sen, she defended a Ph.D in epistemology of economics on the possibility of a rational ethics in economics (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, 2009). Then she completed a post-doctorate at the Université Paris 1 (ANR project Nano2e, 2010-2012) on the ethical issue of nanotechnology (and more particularly biochips and brain-implants using nanotechnology). Recently, she has been working on the way in which nanotechnology transforms or renews the issue of responsible governance of new technologies.
